The wait is finally over ... Beach Fossils are back on the road!
The Brooklyn four-piece – made up of members Dustin Payseur (vocals, guitar), Tommy Davidson (guitar), Jack Doyle Smith (bass) and Anton Hochheim (drums) – have hit the road for a month-long winter tour, with support from Surf Curse on select dates.
The trek kicked off last night, January 15th, in Boston, and is scheduled to visit cities up and down the East Coast like Miami, Atlanta and Nashville before wrapping up February 1st in Richmond.
Last night's show at Paradise Rock Club featured five songs off 2013's Clash the Truth, including "Crashed Out," "Generational Synthetic," "Shallow," "Clash the Truth" and "Sleep Apnea." The group also performed cuts from their latest album, 2017's Somersault, like "May 1st," "Sugar" and "This Year" and other favorites "Adversity" and "Daydream."
As always, if you were at the show, make sure to update THE SETLIST!
In May, Beach Fossils are hitting the road with Captured Tracks labelmates Wild Nothing to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their debut albums – Wild Nothing's Gemini and Beach Fossils' self-titled. The tour will see both bands playing the albums in full throughout cities like Austin, Los Angeles and Chicago.
In the meantime, Beach Fossils are continuing their solo trek. Check out their winter dates below, and head to Beach Fossils' website for more information!
