Last night, Halsey kicked off her 2020 Manic World Tour at the WiZink Center in Madrid, Spain. The 22-song setlist featured eleven songs from the singer’s third studio album, Manic, which was released on January 17.
She opened up the night with her single “Nightmare,” followed by hits from her debut studio album Badlands and 2017 release hopeless fountain kingdom. Fans experienced an intense thrill of throwbacks such as “Castle,” “Colors,” “Gasoline,” “Haunting” and “Hold Me Down.” Five songs from hopeless fountain kingdom included "100 Letters," "Bad at Love," "Eyes Closed," "Heaven in Hiding" and "Walls Could Talk."
The main set included three live debuts from Manic, including “Forever … (Is a Long Time),” “3am” and “Killing Boys.” Halsey also covered Post Malone’s “Die for Me,” which coordinated well with the colorful and high-energy engagement of the crowd.
The encore featured a live debut of “Ashley,” “Gasoline” and an acapella outro of “Without Me.” Featuring a flashy medley of smoke and confetti, the concert was filled with fans singing along and interacting with Halsey.
