Chilean superstar Mon Laferte is the most listened to artist from Chile on Spotify worldwide, the singer/songwriter/actress and political activist has made headlines recently when she attended the Latin GRAMMYs with a message of that read "En Chile Torturan Violan y Matan" (English translation: In Chile they torture, rape and kill) across her bare chest. The message was a response to the turmoil happening in Chile, the artist did not hold back during her set at Viña del Mar Festival on Monday, February 24. The singer at one point said "you cannot throw a party amid injustices and human rights violations," to which she received a standing ovation from the audience for according to reports.
Mon Laferte's set included 18 songs with an acoustic section! The singer performed music from her albums La trenza, Mon Lafarte, vol. 1 and Norma. While not much footage has surfaced on YouTube yet, this fan recorded performance of her hit "Amor completo" is astounding, the singalong by the audience gives me goosebumps!

Her set featured two performances that saw the singer joined by a collective of Chilean musicians onstage, what those song titles were are unknown at the moment. Mon Laferte's set concluded with a two-song encore of her songs "Antes de ti" and "Tu falta de querer." If you want to catch Mon Laferete live, you're going to have to travel to Mexico as her only scheduled live date in 2020 will take place in Monterrey, Mexico at Tecate Pa'l Norte 2020 Festival on March 20.
