A rumored Led Zeppelin reunion may not be in the works as of now, but Robert Plant just announced some 2018 dates for his ongoing solo tour. He will have a few rotating supporters on this jaunt which include big names like: Sheryl Crow, Jim James, Elle King, Jon Langford, and Lucinda Williams, among others. The shows will undoubtedly have a little something for everyone.
The tour will be in support of his newest solo album, Carry Fire, which was released late last year. This new batch of dates will take off on June 8 in Atlanta, GA and end in Vancouver, BC on June 29.
Plant will be accompanied by his prolific backing band, The Sensational Space Shifters. The band features a stacked line up including West African musician Juldeh Camara, guitarists Skin Tyson and Justin Adams, drummer Dave Smith, Massive Attack keyboardist John Baggott, and bassist Billy Fuller.
His setlists the past year have included classic Led Zeppelin songs, and covers along with solo songs both new and old. You can check out what he played at his latest show on March 2 Here.
