Spice Girls 2019 Tour Wrap: Setlists, Adele, + Geri Apologizes!

Girl group icons Spice Girls completed their coveted reunion tour this past weekend with three shows at the legendary Wembley Stadium in London. The Spice World Tour saw four out five of the original members - everyone but Victoria Beckham (Posh) - visit venues across the UK.

While we covered the beginning and middle of the tour, it's these last three sold-out run of shows that helped bring the tour to a grand finale.

The first night of three kicked off on June 13th to the tour's staple 20-track setlist - which remained, for the most part, unchanged. But during this special set, the girls brought back their cover of Queen's "We Will Rock You" to the set, which was preceded with band introductions.

It was during the very last show on June 16th however, when the girl power icons got emotional. During their set, a number of things happened. First off, Ginger Spice APOLOGIZED to devout Spice fans all over for quitting back in 1998.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry I left. I was just being a brat. It is so good to be back with the girls that I love."

No apologizes necessary Geri, we love you no matter what!

Another heartfelt moment came toward the end of the set when they brought out their mothers and children, exclaiming that there were "three generations of Spice Girls" up there! Girl power was maximized three times.

The girls also performed an impromptu rendition of singer-songwriter Adele's "Someone Like You," after revealing that the artist was in attendance.

Photographic proof right here:

"Last Time I saw the Spice Girls at Wembley was 21 years ago. Tonight with my nearest and dearest I cried, laughed, screamed, danced, reminisced and fell back in love with my 10 year old self. It's no secret how much I love them, how much they inspired me to run for my life and never look back."

The singer literally wrote into words how every Spice Girls fan must have felt being at these reunion shows.

The setlist for this tour carried all the beloved hits that millennials loved and grew up with like "Spice Up Your Life," "Do It," "If U Can't Dance," "Never Give Up on the Good Times," "Say You'll Be There," "Stop," and of course, "Wannabe."

Following the last show, Geri shared a very emotional message to the fans,

"It has been something that I will never ever forget. Thank you so much. Big love from the Spice World."

But before the tear-works start, it's important to note that this isn't the end for the our favorite Spices, at least we hope? Mel B (Scary Spice) teased:

“I’m always going to say the Spice Girls are going to continue and continue to tour the entire world,” she said. “I’ve got a bee in my bonnet about it. We need to come to Australia, first out the gate. We’ve done London and now we need to come to Australia. So I announced it on stage, yes, without everybody else signing off on it. But I figured if I put it out there I figured maybe it’s going to happen.”

And us fans here in the USA will just keep hoping, praying, wishing, and dreaming they announce a North American tour sooner or later!
