Korn Live Debut New Song on Tour Kickoff with Alice in Chains

Korn and Alice in Chains have officially kicked off their power duo tour. The two legendary rock bands have joined forces this summer for a tour fans will never forget. They've enlisted top notch support as well, from the likes of Underoath and H09909.

Last night, they started their tour in Austin, Texas at Austin360 Amphitheater. Both bands performed a 15-song setlist, and Korn's set carried a live debut of their recently released single "You'll Never Find Me," off their forthcoming album The Nothing.

"You'll Never Find Me" Live Debut

"I would say that it's like a continuation of our last record. It's really guitar-heavy and energetic — there's a lot of energy. We came back to the root of what KORN is, in our sound, in the lyrics and in the feel of the songs. And so what KORN started out to be, I feel like we're doing that right now" - said Brian "Head" Welch of their 13th LP to The Pulse of Radio.

Following the live debut was a performance of "Twisted Transistor," a song they hadn't performed since 2007! Then they busted out "Shoots and Ladders" with a snippet of Metallica's "One" at the end.

They performed plenty of Korn staples as well, including "Blind," "Got the Life" and then "Freak on a Leash" for the main set's closer. For their four-song encore they did most classics - "4 U," "Twist," "Coming Undone" with a cover of "We Will Rock You" in the middle, and then finally ending on "Falling Away From Me."

Korn

Alice in Chains, who performed before Korn, are still supporting last year's album Rainier Fog. Their 15-song setlist opened up with "Bleed the Freak" and went on to play plenty of songs off Dirt and the new album. They also added in more licks from Facelift like "Man in the Box." They ended epically on one of their most beloved cuts, "Rooster."
