Queen + Adam Lambert kicked off their highly anticipated Rhapsody Tour last week in Vancouver, BC, Canada with an exciting 31-song setlist!
Since the kickoff date, the legendary rock icons, paired with singer / former American Idol Contestant Lambert have hit up three other venues, performing the same setlist each night.
There has only been one setlist exception so far. The band performed "One Vision" on opening night, then didn't carry it with them to the other shows.
The entire show is a celebration of Queen's legacy and Freddie Mercury. Lambert has repeatedly stressed that he's not there to replace the musical god. During their stop in San Jose, California, he exclaimed:
“I’m not Freddie Mercury, I (expletive) know — because there is only one Freddie Mercury.” He then asked the crowd “Can we celebrate Freddie and Queen together tonight?”
The remaining OG members of Queen are guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor. Each night they open with "Now I'm Here" and close out on "Bohemian Rhapsody" after performing 26 Queen hits and deep cuts in between.
There's plenty of visuals on the screen of Mercury during the set, proving that this concert is a true tribute in every respect.
