Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band are headed back on the road for the North American leg of their 30th anniversary tour. That’s right, Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band have been spreading "peace and love" around the world since 1989. To give you an idea of how long ago that was, fellow knight Sir Tim Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web in 1989.

Of course, the All Starr Band has changed over the years and differs from tour to tour, but Sir Ringo never disappoints with his lineup. It’s therefore no surprise that this tour’s All Starr Band features multiple big names in rock and roll once again.

Joining The Beatles’ legend on the road will be Santana’s Gregg Rolie (keyboards and vocals), Toto’s Steve Lukather (guitar and vocals) and Men at Work’s Colin Hay (guitar and vocals), along with Warren Ham (saxophone and vocals), Gregg Bissonette (drums) and All Starr Band alum Hamish Stuart (bass and vocals).

The two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and his band wrapped up their recent tour in Japan at the end of April and are ready to get back on the road. They will kick off the month-long North American tour on August 1 in Windsor, Ontario and wrap exactly one month later at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, CA.

In anticipation of the 30th anniversary tour Ringo stated:

“We can’t wait to get out there and share the joy with you – every show is always such a wonderful Peace & Love fest between us and our audiences.” 

With more than twenty solo albums and an extensive Beatles’ catalogue under his belt, we can only imagine how difficult it must be to create a setlist for a crowd of die-hard fans. Not to mention the countless hits of his All Starr Band members.
