Breaking Benjamin have been a band for 20 years! As they tour across North America in celebration of albums both old and new, we got a word with frontman Benjamin Burley about BB's performance style, and how they go about building a setlist!

On performing like the record:
"When I go to see a concert, I like to hear the songs just like on the record. Sometimes you go to see a band and they change it - they won't sing it the same they won't play it the same and you're like 'oh man.' We try to stick to sounding just like the record."
On evolving as performers:
"Now that the line up is what it's been since Dark Before Dawn, we're able to do all the parts of the records. We don't run any tracks and we don't run any click track, it's just pure band playing band to the band and it's an evolution from what we used to be because we're able to recreate the record."
On building a setlist:
"Strategy behind building a setlist is throw in a lot of what everybody else wants to hear, and a little bit of what we want to do. We usually can just make a setlist of all of our singles, then it's a long enough show so we can run off almost 20 years."
