Another year gone by and no reunion for The Postal Service. For a band that soundtracked countless days and nights for fans over the years–and not to forget all the film and tv soundtracks they were placed in, a return by The Postal Service would be welcomed right about now cause you know, 2020.

The Postal Service played their last show ever on August 4, 2013 at the iconic venue Metro in Chicago's Wrigleyville neighborhood. The concert was an official Lollapalooza Aftershow and marked the last stop on the Give Up 10th Anniversary Tour which had a total of 47 dates and kicked off on April 9, 2013 in Reno, Nevada.

The setlist for the final The Postal Service show included 17 songs in total and featured a 3-song encore. The show opened with "The District Sleeps Alone Tonight" and the main set closed with "Natural Anthem" but they came back onstage for an encore. While the main set already included "Such Great Heights," the encore boasted a replay of their signature hit as the show closer with frontman Ben Gibbard telling the audience "Not only is this the last song of the tour, this is the last song we will ever do."
