The Smashing Pumpkins' co-headlining summer trek with Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds has officially come to a close. The bands wrapped up their joint summer tour on August 31 in Mountain View, California after hitting up various North American cities together over the past month.
Throughout the trek, the Pumpkins' 17-song setlist included a vast majority of cuts spanning their entire career ("1979," "Ava Adore," "Bullet With Butterfly Wings") as well as a few songs off 2018's Shiny and Oh So Bright, Vol. 1 / LP: No Past. No Future. No Sun. ("Solara," "Knights of Malta").
On the tour's closing night, things were no different as the Pumpkins brought the hits, new songs and a few covers to Mountain View's Shoreline Amphitheatre.
Like the rest of the tour, they kept this setlist pretty 90s-heavy, featuring songs like "Cherub Rock," "Disarm" and "Today" from 1993's Siamese Dream and "1979," "Bullet With Butterfly Wings," "Tonight, Tonight," and "Zero" off 1995's Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, with the latter featuring some elements from Led Zeppelin's "Dazed and Confused."

They've been keeping their new material short– playing only "Solara" and "Knights of Malta" off their new album– and have instead been focusing on cuts spanning the rest of their career.
Other highlights included songs "Ava Adore," "G.L.O.W.," "Superchrist," "Eye" and "The Aeroplane Flies High (Turns Left, Looks Right)," as well as a cover of James Taylor's "Fire and Rain," which they live-debuted on this tour's opening night.

Surprisingly, none of Billy Corgan's solo material has been featured on this summer tour. Prior to this month-long trek with the Pumpkins, Corgan had embarked on his own solo tour, playing cuts from his solo album Ogilala as well as a few from his supergroup, Zwan, and, of course, a slew of Smashing Pumpkins favorites.
