The Who Live Debut New Song ‘Big Cigars’ on 2019 Moving On! Tour

English rock legends The Who are currently in the midst of their North American "Moving On!" Tour. In addition to original members Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend, the current tour lineup consist of Simon Townshend on guitar, Loren Gold on keys, Jon Button on bass, Zak Starkey on drums, Billy Nicholls on vocals, and Katie Jacoby on violin, plus the band is backed by a local orchestra in each stop of the tour. The 29-date tour kicked off May 7th at Grand Rapids, Michigan's Van Andel Arena, and while it's first leg wrapped June 1st in Toronto, the band is on their summer leg which will end October 23rd in Edmonton. For a full list of remaining dates, see below!

The Who have debuted two new songs in total on their current tour so far. The latest track to make it's first appearance on the Moving On! Tor setlist is “Big Cigars."

The band announced that its respective album will be released this November. Guitarist Pete Townshend prefaced the new song's delivery saying, “Next year, hopefully, the songs that we release in November will be greatest hits. ... Or maybe they won’t. Listen, you can sit or stand, you can dance, you can go to sleep – I don’t give a fuck. You’ve bought your ticket. It’s done. It’s a done deal! ... I seriously wish we were sharper tonight. I know we’re not on top form. But you know, you have given us so much love. We appreciate it!”

While we were sadly not in attendance at the show and unsure of where "Big Cigars" landed on the setlist, if you were there would you be so kind to edit the setlist and add it in if you were there!

The second song they've debuted on tour "Hero Ground Zero" was played for the second time live, check it out:
