On this day, September 11th, in 1987, Peter Tosh was murdered in a home invasion. It's been 33 years since we lost the talented Jamaican musician, and OG member of The Wailers. To commemorate his great legacy, we're remembering the last show he performed with The Wailers band.

On October 4, 1975, the Wonder Dream Concert took place at the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica. The historic show was headlined by Stevie Wonder with Bob Marley & The Wailers joining the bill along with former bandmates Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer. Often dubbed The Wailers Reunion Show, it was only the second time the original Wailers played together since 1973 and unfortunately marked the final time as well.

The setlist for the benefit concert –which served the Jamaican Institute for the Blind, featured openers Third World. While Stevie Wonder was the headliner, the concerts historic and monumental event that saw the reunion of Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer playing alongside Bob Marley & The Wailers for the final time is our talking point here as we honor Tosh. The show opened with "Rastaman Chant" and featured a total of 14 songs on the setlist. The guys worked their way through band material before performances of Bunny Wailer's "Dreamland" and "Fight Against Conviction" followed by performances of Peter Tosh's songs "Mark of the Beast," "You Can't Blame the Youth" and "Legalize It."
