John Mayer has been described as many things; a blues crooner, a soft boy, a Deadhead etc. And the singer-songwriter is using his personas to his advantage as he kicked off his European tour in Stockholm last week (Oct 1) to a packed audience.

Mayer is just hot off of his latest release titled "Carried Away" and is teasing fans who are hungry for a new album, with his last being 2017's The Search for Everything. But, regardless of current discography, the guitarist seems to be having fun and letting loose with fans as he performs his famous solo hits as well as his work with former Grateful Dead members under their band Dead and Company. Mayer separates his shows into two sets, with the first being more electric and the second, starting with more acoustic versions before returning to electric. In this manner, the Grammy winner takes on the multiple versions of himself that fans have fallen for and gives the crowd a show that can please any Mayer fan, whether they came for the charming singer or the accomplished guitarist. Check out this acoustic performance of some of his greatest hits such as "Your Body Is A Wonderland" below in Amsterdam last night (Oct 9).

Mayer utilizes his 21-song setlist to take fans on a journey through his career with songs from his first album Room for Squares such as "Neon" followed with references to his work in Dead and Co. with his cover of Grateful Dead's "Fire on the Mountain." Check out the amazing rendition below!

Mayer closes his shows with a 3-song encore of performances of hits like "Gravity" and recent releases such as "New Light." The singer makes sure to keep the audience on their toes through the night, performing songs that he hasn't in a while, such as "A Face to Call Home," which he sang in Stockholm on October 3 for the first time in five years!

So whether you are a diehard Dead and Co. fan or are reminiscent of the old romantic days of Room for Squares, Mayer proves that this tour is one for the fans, giving them every kind of Mayer they want and proving that the ever-changing artist is one that folks should make sure not to miss out on seeing!
