The Joshua Tree album is something sacred to U2 fans, with some of the greatest hits of the band's more than 40-year career found within the 1987 record. U2 is celebrating their legacy and the legacy of this album, taking it to places like Australia, Singapore and India, on The Joshua Tree 2019 Tour.

The band announced the international tour, with an emphasis in New Zealand and Australia as well as places in Asia that the band hadn't played in, like Singapore. On the tour, U2's iconic front man Bono said:

“Doing these shows has been very special for us, a lot of emotion… From the despair of how relevant some of the dark songs still are, to the joy, pure fun of the staging… it’s quite a ride. And now we get to do it all over again.

With a discography that spans generations, U2 is sure to pull out all the stops on what will be their fourth tour in five years, proving that the band is just as passionate and effervescent as ever. U2 split up their set with their other hits at the beginning and end of the night, and dedicate the majority of their show to playing as many songs from The Joshua Tree as they can.
