Last night, November 17, rock band Weezer played a short set as part of the 32nd Annual Supercomputing Celebration in San Diego, California. Clocking in at a mere six songs, the excitement came during a Q&A session before they wrapped up with a two song encore. During that time they announced the completion of what may be their 15th studio album, OK Human.
Weezer's 14th studio album, Van Weezer, is still slated for release on May 7, 2021. The first song of the encore was a VW track "Hero" which had only been performed twice before--once on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and once on Rivers Cuomo's "Island in the Zoom" acoustic stream back in May.
