Hi there, I was planning on entering Murphy's Law recent Euro run, but saw that you had most of them entered already. Just wondering if the shows that are missing were cancelled, or if you just didn't get around to entering them? The dates are July 28, 29, 30 and August 3. I was going to just add them, but then I saw that you attended one of the shows and figured I'd double check with you before I did. Thanks!

Hi, I am currently having an issue where every edit I make gets reverted in minutes by what seems to be an army of bots who don’t give any reason for their changes. I was reported a month for posting part of a setlist in anticipation, and even though it ended up being correct it wasn’t something I should’ve done.
https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/bastille/2023/castlefield-bowl-manchester-england-2ba7d4da.html

My editing privileges were then revoked and even though I can now access the editing page again, the bots still appear to revert any change I make, regardless of validity. Is there anything that could be done about these so I can make contributions without dealing with these bots?

Thanks Martin (The Chats). I might have ticked it by accident

follow up to Rebel Rock Orlando:
Thursday's show did happen, minus Volbeat.
Real crappy of the promoters to cancel the rest of the festival less the 2 hours
before doors, day of show on Friday!!!
I finally got all the Friday Saturday & Sunday setlist cancelled.
It took a few days.

All Best, DR AL

no, entire event was cancelled
it looks like those setlists may have already been deleted.

all best, DR. AL

Hi can you cancel all of the setlists
Rebel Rock Orlando?
I was going to be attending.
They have canceled all four days.
Thanks.
I figured you could do it faster with your magical roadie powers

All best Dr Al

Did some more research on The Brains at Rebellion Fest. Since 2002 Tom Gray of the US new wave band The Brains has been working almost exclusively with his new band Delta Moon. He did the occasional solo show around Atlanta, but hasn't reformed The Brains since they broke up in the early 1980's. The closest was when he played with the Swimming Pool Q's and Brains drummer Charles Wolff in Atlanta in 2007. Looking at the Canadian band's style and whereabouts in Europe during those summers, it makes sense that it was really the Canadian band.

I really think that that the shows credited to the US new wave band The Brains from the 3 Rebellion Festivals, 2009, 2013, and 2014 should be credited to the Canadian psychobilly band The Brains, as the US band has been inactive since the early to mid 1980s. Thanks.

Salut Martin,

Would it be possible for you to assign the concerts you attended in KavKa Antwerp to the correct venue either
https://www.setlist.fm/venue/kavka-oudaan-antwerp-belgium-53d3cfa5.html of https://www.setlist.fm/venue/kavka-zappa-antwerp-belgium-4bd3cfa6.html
Thanks in advance.

Hi Martin,
Regarding this one...
https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/teenage-bottlerocket/2019/hard-luck-bar-toronto-on-canada-3b911c38.html#sfmses4304f78f
...why would the "across" be lower case? I don't see that in the Musicbrainz style/grammar guidelines for English.

Hi Martin, I’m glad you and me are on the same page about moderator dirkvandamme. He has been harrassing me for over a year an has been deleting a lot of set lists and edits I made.

I has come to the point where I would kindly suggest you raise this issue with administrators. I have been in contact with michi today.

Good luck!

Hello
I questioned you because you added some shows you didn't attend without
giving a source. Nothing personal, we just like to have source proof when
someone stumbles across a missing show that they didn't attend in person.
Please post your source in the comments.
It's difficult to question setlist users upload when someone supposedly knowing a lot more isn't doing the same.
Thank you.

Thanks for the response. To be honest those links pretty much back up what I've been saying. When I tried to add the Martian Dance gigs from 1981, I can't as it says the club closed in 1969 and reopened as the Wag in 1982. Whereas, as those links say, the lease was bought in early 1981 by Chris Sullivan, so it must have been renamed the Wag in 1982 and not reopened. Therefore, it was still functioning as the Whiskey A Go-Go in June 1981 when I saw the two Martian Dance gigs there, as proved by the link to the gig poster that I showed you recently.

The gigs I messaged you about back in October at the Whiskey A Go Go in Wardour Street, London. According to the venue information it closed as a venue in 1969 and re-opened as the Wag Club in 1982. However, I saw the band Martian Dance there on two successive nights in 1981.
I now have proof: http://www.rockpopmem.com/Martian-Dance-Martian-Dance-Poster-1981/65531.htm

Wow, that’s ridiculous.
The ones which have disappeared from my gig history were mostly late ‘70s and early ‘80s.
I don’t understand what they could sue about. They’re facts regarding a band, it’s not that person’s personal property.
